Goose is a 2.5-year-old neutered male Labrador Retriever/Husky mix who has unfortunately found his way back to us through no fault of his own. He’s now looking for a very specific home where he can truly thrive. Goose would do best as the only pet in the home—no other dogs, cats, or children. He needs a calm, structured environment with an experienced owner who understands his needs and is committed to giving him consistency and guidance.
Goose is a smart, active boy with a lot of energy and drive. Being a mix of two high-energy, working breeds, he requires more than just a backyard—he needs daily physical exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and balanced. Long walks, runs, structured playtime, and enrichment activities are a must. He’s the kind of dog who will excel with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and wants a companion to be part of it.
He will need continued work and patience as he adjusts, but in the right home, Goose has the potential to be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion. He’s not for a first-time dog owner—but for the right person, he will be worth the effort.
