Carmelo is a charming young Mixed Breed, possibly a Maltese/Poodle mix, estimated to be around 3 years old. He arrived at the shelter on March 11, 2026, as a stray from Lindsay with two other dogs, who have since been adopted. Now, Carmelo is hoping it is his turn to find a home of his own.
Carmelo has medium energy, making him a nice match for adopters looking for a dog who enjoys activity and companionship while also appreciating downtime. Daily walks, playtime, and interactive enrichment can help keep him physically and mentally fulfilled.
He can be shy at first and may be nippy when feeling unsure or overwhelmed, so he will need patient adopters who understand that trust takes time and are committed to using gentle, positive interactions to help him feel safe.
