Meet Azalea 🌸
Azalea is a 1 year, 6 month old spayed female Australian Kelpie mix who’s ready to find a place to finally call home. She was found scared and on the run, hiding from the world, but since coming into our care she’s been slowly learning that people can be kind and she’s truly such a sweet girl.
Azalea can be a little nervous at first, so she’ll need a patient adopter who will give her the time and space to feel safe and come out of her shell. Once she warms up, her gentle and loving personality really starts to shine.
Because of her initial shyness, we will require meet-and-greets for any dogs currently in the home to make sure it’s a good fit. At this time, we are unsure how she does with children or cats.
Azalea has been through a lot, and she deserves a calm, understanding home where she can continue to build confidence and feel secure. If you’re willing to go slow and earn her trust, she’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion.
