Male Dog aged 4 years.
Teddy is an adorable, approximately 4-year-old, 25-pound Terrier mix who recently joined us after his beloved human passed away. While Teddy's world has changed through no fault of his own, he's ready to turn the page and begin a wonderful new chapter with a family who will love him forever.
This charming little guy has plenty of personality, and he's not afraid to share his opinions! Teddy enjoys "talking" to his humans, so if you've been looking for a companion who's happy to engage in a little conversation, Teddy might just be your guy!
Teddy also enjoys the company of other dogs and is a big fan of treats, which should come in handy as he settles into his new home and learns the family routine. He's looking for a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore, enjoy some fresh air, and take in all the interesting sights and smells.
Teddy is ready for the comfort and security of a loving home where he can once again feel like a cherished member of the family.
Could you be the happy ending to Teddy's story? He'd love to meet you—and probably have a little chat about it, too!
To get started on the adoption process, visit https://azfriends.org/testing/adopt.html to complete an adoption consultation form, and then stop by the Adoption Center to meet with one of our adoption counselors. Or you can just come and see us and fill out a consultation form upon arrival!
No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the animal. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)!
Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In the event there is more than one home interested in the same animal, a lottery may be held that will include all families that are at our adoption center at the time we open the day the animal becomes available. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member.
Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).
